Publication Ethics
By submitting a manuscript to JII, authors confirm the following:
- The work has not been previously published, except in the form of an abstract, academic lecture, seminar, or thesis.
- The manuscript is not under review elsewhere and will not be submitted to another publication while under consideration by JII.
- All authors have approved the submission and, where applicable, the appropriate institutional or supervisory authority has also granted approval.
- If accepted, the article will not be published in the same form, in English or any other language, in any other medium, without prior written permission from the copyright holder.
Required Submission Declaration Statement
Each submission must include the following declaration, either in the cover letter or on the title page:
“We hereby confirm that the manuscript has no actual or potential conflict of interest with any parties, including financial, personal, or other relationships that could inappropriately influence—or be perceived to influence—the work reported.
We further confirm that the manuscript has not been previously published, is not under consideration elsewhere, and is not being simultaneously submitted to another journal.”
Required Submission Materials:
- Full names and institutional affiliations of all authors
- One author clearly identified as the corresponding author, including:
- Email address
- Full mailing address
- Telephone and (if available) fax number
